Strong101 | Youth
Kids are like sponges, they do what they see and it sticks for life! That’s why it’s important to create a good feeling and aura around training in the gym and exercise in general. Our coaches understand that safety and quality of movement are the priority when coaching kids, so rest assured that solid movement patterns will be developed at Strong101 youth. These classes typically start with a fun warm-up game followed by movement drills then the workout. Our aim is to teach kids that fitness can be fun.
Personal | Training
One-on-one Coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, conduct a functional movement assessment, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimising your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. One-on-one coaching is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.
Personal Training is charged at our rate of £30 per hour with discount available for larger block bookings. Please contact us for more information.
Online | Programming
There are two types of people who should consider online programming.
Type A. Maybe you train at a CrossFit gym, conventional gym or play a sport of some sort and you have something specific that you want to develop but you don’t know how. We solve this problem by programming a step by step solution to your specific problem. Tell us what time and equipment you have at your disposal and we will cater to your specific issues.
Type B. We understand that not everyone can dedicate time to specific classes, travel to the gym or wants to train in a group setting or even in a gym at all. That’s why we make tailored programs suited to the client. In the past we have had people who had anxiety in the gym, people who worked away and used hotel gyms most of the time. If this is you and you have a specific goal, maybe weight loss, a quicker 10km time or just general fitness this type of program is for you.
Adaptive athletes started when I noticed the fitness classes for people with learning disabilities were delivered to a poor standard and thrown together by people who had only a general understanding of fitness. I think these people deserve the best, it takes a lot more than just general understanding to keep adaptive athletes interested and keen to work. We make every part of our AA classes as fun and as inclusive as possible. We believe we have found a recipe for success when it comes to training people with learning difficulties.
